Chilton Village Open Day

On Sunday 11th May, the sun shone for our village open day. Local groups and organizations worked hard to create displays inside the village hall, and the church provided delicious cream teas.

The Scouts ran a car wash which resulted in many very wet young people, 18 clean cars, and voluntary donations of exactly £100. Also we were approached by one person who is interested in becoming a Scout leader.

It was a fantastic day, and a real chance for us all to show how proud we are of where we live.
