Some preparation is needed if you intend to take part and this is a perfect opportunity for you to take the lead and organize this event. The leaders will provide support where needed, but this one will be up to you. This will make up part of your Global Challenge Badge.

15th Nov

Day trip to the RNLI Headquarters in Poole. We have a fantastic chance to visit the headquarters of the RNLI in Poole, Dorset. We will be shown around the site and may be able to get a look on one of the lifeboats.

We can only take 15 scouts, so it’s first-come, first-served.
15th&16th Nov

District Night Hike - for all scouts and older cubs in the district. Unfortunately, there was a change of date and it now clashes with our trip to Poole, but we will see what we can do.

More information will be provided soon.

Balloon racers. We will be making racing cars one week and racing them in a tournament the following week. There may be a prize for the winning team, plus a patrol point or two.

If you do not have badge 1 or badge 2, you have the opportunity to get them tonight. Look in your badge book for the requirements for these badges and bring along any certificates if you already have the training
