Awards and Recognition

Badminton

Well Done to Sophie and Sam Cox for being selected to represent Oxfordshire County at Badminton. Sophie will be playing for the U15 team whilst Sam will be representing the U13 team at there next competition. Well done Guys

Cooking Competition

Well done to Painless, Wombat, Maya and Callum for a fantastic 3rd place (out of 5) at the 2010 Didcot District Cooking Competition. Great result guys and some lovely grub produced.

Football

Our scouts took part in the District 5-a-side Football Competition on 20th Feb. Our scouts achieved 2nd place out of 5 teams. Well done scouts and congratulations on your sportsmanship during the competition. Well done to Nigel, Callum, Sparrow, James, Harry, Painless and Ian.

Orienteering

Our scouts have been attending a number of orienteering events which are run by the Thames Valley Club. Recently Peter Perfect and Wombat completed the Shotover course and gaining brilliant positions in their age groups. Well done guys. Their taking part in these activities has meant they have been awarded with their orienteering badges. Well done scouts

Paper Plane Competition

2011

This years CPPC was won by Miles who initial throw a plane equal to Chris B but after a re-throw Miles was declared the victor. Well done Miles.

2010

The 1st Annual Chilton Paper Plane Competition (CPPC) was held in February in the village hall. The prize was won by Mini for his great effort which saw his plane nearly tavel the whole length of the hall. Nice one Mini
