RAF OdihamOne cold March evening in 2009 a group of intrepid Scouts set off for RAF Odiham in Hampshire. We had been invited along by an instructor with the 618 gliding squadron to tour the base and look at some of the equipment. having negotiated the arm guards on the gate we got to look around the vigilant gliders, including sitting in the cockpit, had a tour of the air traffic control tower and got to look around the National standby chinnock with a great talk from airman Dave. It was a brilliant evening and a big thank you goes to Glen and Dave for showing us round.
